Fees
Appointments
The session fee is $195 per session. All fees are payable at the time of consultation. No referral is required unless you wish to claim on Medicare (there are 10 Medicare rebateable sessions available per calendar year). If you are referred by your GP or Psychiatrist with a Mental Health Care Plan you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $96.65 for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. You will need to pay the full fee for the session and then we can process the rebate for you (Medicare usually deposits this in your account within 24 hours).
Consulting Fee
Fees are much lower than the recommended fee set by the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. of $315 for a 50+ minute consultation.
Cancellation Fee
A cancellation fee may be charged if you give less than 24 hours’ notice for a face to face session. There can be greater flexibility with cancellation notice for Telehealth sessions however practice expenses needs to be covered and your appointment could be allocated to another person on the waiting list if you give enough notice that you cannot make the session, please keep this in mind.
